If you registered and were accepted into Artist's Alley, does the fee cover your registration or do you need to register separately?

You have to register seperately, sorry!

I'm not from scad, so am I allowed to come too? Also, are people ages 13 and under allowed to go?

Yep! It’s a family-friendly con that anyone can attend, including non-SCAD students (:

SwarmCon 2014 - May 3rd & May 4th

Hey, everyone! My good pal Mad and I will be attending SwarmCon this weekend! We’ll be sharing a table in the Artist Alley as well as hosting two different panels on Saturday:

The Sakana and Monsterkind Panel (12:30PM-1:30PM)

Mad Rupert (Sakana) and Taylor C. (Monsterkind) are super into comics and want to tell you all about the ones they make. Come join them in their self-indulgent panel where they talk about fish stall losers and weird monsters. The panel will double as a Q&A session, so bring any and all questions you can think of related to their work! May contain spoilers! 1 hour.

Adventures in Creating a Webcomic (6:00PM-7:00PM)

Making webcomics is tough work. There are a lot of factors that go into putting yourself and your creations out there in the big world. Mad Rupert (Sakana) and Taylor C. (Monsterkind) are here to try and answer your questions and make sense of the mystery surrounding comic making. The purpose of this panel is to answer any and all questions related to creating and publishing online comics. Anything from conceptualizing to web hosting, no holds barred- they’ve got some answers that might just help you get started! 1 hour.

Come see us!
